Friday, July 3: Vendor Festival and Carnival Rides in Pier Plaza and Pier Plaza parking lot: 10am-9pm Entertainment on the City Showmobile in Pier Plaza Amphitheatre: 10am-9pm   Saturday, July 4: Surf City 5K Run (starts at Worthy Park and runs down Main Street, PCH, back to Worthy): 7am Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast (Lake Park): 7am 122 nd annual Main Street 4 th of July Parade Parade: 10am at Main/PCH Main Street Block Party featuring Redneck Rodeo: 3pm-8pm Surf City Motor Club – Main Street Car Show: 1-4:30pm Vendor Festival and Carnival Rides in Pier Plaza and Pier Plaza Parking Lot: 10am-9pm Fireworks Over the Ocean, sponsored by the Mayer Family Foundation: 9pm (28 minute show versus 20 minute shows in the past)   Sunday, July 5: Community Bike Parade (start at Main/Yorktown): 11:30am Vendor Festival and Carnival Rides in Pier Plaza and Pier Plaza Parking Lot: 10am-6pm Entertainment on the City Showmobile in Pier Plaza Amphitheatre: 10am-6pm
