Get ready to welcome one of Huntington Beach’s signature summer traditions as the Lexus 2026 US Open of Surfing presented by Pacifico returns to Surf City USA from July 25 through August 2 on the south side of the Huntington Beach Pier. Free and open to the public, the nine-day event brings together the world’s top surfers, thousands of fans, and a vibrant festival atmosphere that celebrates the city’s rich surf culture. For more than six decades, the US Open of Surfing has been a defining event for Huntington Beach, reinforcing our reputation as an international surfing destination. The competition attracts elite athletes from around the globe while showcasing the energy, hospitality, and coastal lifestyle that make our community unique. In addition to world-class surfing, visitors can enjoy sponsor activations, interactive exhibits, food and beverage offerings, merchandise, and live entertainment throughout the event. Whether you’re a lifelong surf fan or attending for the first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy along the beachfront. With hundreds of thousands of spectators expected over the course of the event, residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead. Parking near the pier is expected to fill early each day, and attendees are encouraged to bike, walk, rideshare, or use available public transportation whenever possible. A complimentary Surf City USA® Bike Valet will be available during select event days, providing a convenient option for cyclists.
